5th Congress of the Union of SGIP

On May 21, 2016 the 5th Congress of the Union of SGIP was held. During the Congress, 80 years Jubilee (20.6.1936) dedicated to the first strike of the construction workers was also celebrated by which the first foundations of the Union of SGIP were established.

Во рамките на спроведување на програмските определби за реализација на едукативниот концепт на Сојузот на синдикатите на Македонија (ССМ), на ден 4.5.2016 година претседателот на ССМ, д-р Живко Митревски присуствуваше на консултативна дебата за претставниците од давателите на образование за возрасни од проектот финансиран од ЕУ „Техничка помош за подготовка на сеопфатна Стратегија за образование 2016-2020“.

Претседателот на Сојузот на синдикати на Македонија (ССМ), д-р Живко Митревски, учествуваше на тркалезната маса организирана од Националниот совет за безбедност и здравје при работа, на тема „Несреќи, повреди и смртни случаи при работа во Република Македонија“, со што беше одбележан 28 Април – Светскиот ден за безбедност и здравје при работа.

MEETING OF THE PRESIDENT OF CCM WITH THE PRESIDENT OF ORM
The President of CCM, PhD Zhivko Mitrevski and the President of the Organization of Employers of Macedonia (ORM), Angel Dimitrov as two representative partners in the private sector had a working meeting on which several topics related to social dialogue, current political crisis and other relevant issues have been discussed.

First of May, the International Labor Day, 2016
May 1st, - the International Labor Day is a day when we celebrate the historic struggle of the workers for better labor rights, secure jobs, better and safer social and economic welfare for themselves and their families.
Today, Trade Unions are facing with strong challenges imposed by the neoliberal policies of the still present economic crisis and in the Republic of Macedonia they are standing upright in front of the serious political crisis.
IMPROVED OHS IN KAVADARCI

The analysis of CCM, Regional Trade Union Office Kavadarci which was presented by the General Secretary, Stojko Murdzhavalevski on the working meeting held on 04.03.2016 in Kavadarci in the framework of a survey conducted in Kavadarci, Negotino, Demir Kapija and Gevgelija showed that after the adoption of the OHS Law the occupational health and safety at work has been drastically improved.

COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT FOR ENERGY SECTOR SIGNED

The Independent syndicate of workers in energy sector of Macedonia and the Association of Employers of energy sector in the Organization of Employers of Macedonia yesterday signed new Collective agreement that regulates the rights and obligations of the social partners in this area.

The Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia (CCM) and the Macedonian of Occupational and Safety Association (MOSHA) within the project "Strengthening the partnership of civil society and state institutions in the creation and promotion of the right to safe and healthy working environment - Basic human right "on 2.3.2016 in Stip organized a working meeting with the presidents of trade union organization in Stip and Probistip, representatives from the state Labor Inspectorate, employers, civil society organizations and representatives of the Law Faculty in Stip.

On 3/2/2016 the President of the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia (CCM), PhD Zhivko Mitrevski and the President of the Trade Union of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Macedonia (SRSVM), Metodija Dimovski had a working meeting with the representatives of MZ Transport AD Skopje, the General Manager of Railways Transport and Chairman of the Steering Board, Mr. Nikola Kostov and the Director of Legal Affairs, Human Resources and Corporate operations, Mrs. Juliana Verigik.
