TOMORROW: CONFERENCE ON HEALTH AND SAFETY AT WORK

Tomorrow in the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia CCM, starting at 9:30 am a conference will be held on "Safety and Health at Work - basic labor law," which will include representatives of institutions from Macedonia, Turkey and Finland, as well as of the European Union.

The conference will debate EU policies and strategies for health and safety at work, the adoption of European legislation in Macedonia, the risk assessment of workplace safety, productivity and other topics.

The conference will be opened by CCM President Zivko Mitrevski. The speakers will be representatives of the EU Delegation in Macedonia, project representatives of ECBOHS, Miray Vurmay of the Turkish Metalworkers Trade Union, representatives of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, representatives of the Macedonian Association, OHS experts from Finland Heikki Laitinen and Erkki Irjaneiki of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health of Finland, Ahmed Ersoy of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of Turkey and others.

The conference is organized within the project ECBOHS - European Cooperation Bridges for Occupational Health and Safety, supported by the European Union.
