FINAL CONFERENCE OF THE PROJECT " NETWORK FOR SAFETY AND HEALTH"

From 24 to 26 October in Makarska, Croatia was held the final Conference of the project "Network for health and safety at work."

The project involved the Trade unions of the financial activities of Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia, and as coordinator is the Association "Mobbing" from  Zagreb. The project is funded by the pre-accession IPA funds - 2008 Civil Society Facility. The Trade union of financial activities of Macedonia SFDM is national coordinator for Macedonia.

The conference will be attended by trade union representatives of state institutions, but as well by employers' organizations, the judiciary and NGOs, in a total of approximately 30 participants from each country, informed us Goce Selovski, president of the SFDM.

The conference will be open by Jadranka Apostolovski of the Croatian Association "Mobbing", as project leader and by the representative of the European Commission, Henk Visser.

Trade union representatives of the four countries will present the results of the project work. During the conference an Agreement will be signed for establishment of Regional antimobing network.

CCM and SFDM are very much engaged in the activities against psychological harassment in the workplace, or mobbing. In December 2010 an office in CCM was open for the mobbing victims, whereas CCM requires a separate law against mobbing.
