CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS AND OHS

Within the project "Civil society organizations as active social actors in the promotion of OHS standards" in Ohrid two-day training was held. Leader of this a project is the Macedonian Occupational Health and Safety Association.
The training was attended by representatives of CCM, ORM, representatives of the National Council for Health and Safety at Work, Labor Inspectorate, educational institutions, NGOs, consultants, experts from the Republic of Macedonia and the European Union.
During the training the following was presented: the Macedonian OHS Law, with emphasis on the methodology of risk assessment, OHS Lobbying and advocacy and Study of EU cooperation among stakeholders in health and safety at work and possible ways of collaboration between stakeholders in the country. By CCM the proposal for amending the OHS Law was presented.
