12 August, International Youth Day Announcement of the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia and Youth Section of SSM
SSM and Youth Section support all activities in Republic of Macedonia directed towards improving social and material conditions of young people and achieving of their function in society.
SSM and YS focus on implementing the Youth Employment National Action Plan 2015.
Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia undertake concrete actions and measures - informative lectures, campaigns and training to familiarize young people with their employment rights and their implementation.
SSM and YS are committed to exchange views and information and reaching agreement on important economic and social issues within the scope of local government and in particular the issue of improving the employability skills of young people.
SSM and YS use the opportunity of this Day to encourage all young people who are involved in the trade union movement to actively engage and join in the unions affiliated in SSM and to actively participate in exercise of trade union rights and freedoms.
