MEETINGS BETWEEN PRESIDENT OF SSM, PRESIDENTS OF BRANCH TRADE UNIONS AND UNION ORGANIZATIONS

Within the agenda set about implementing measures on OSH and on the activities of SSM and Trade unions in the context of consultations for the General collective agreement for the private sector of the economy area, the President of SSM, Dr. Zivko Mitrevski and President of AGRO union, Zivko Danevski on 9.08.2013 held a meeting in AD Pelagonija - Bitola.

At the meeting the representatives of management presented activities and measures taken by the employer in respect of the implementation of OSH measures in the context of harvest in the agricultural giant and the activities of trade unions in this regard. Production plans were presented and success was achieved for early completion of harvesting activities in agricultural company.

At the meeting were confirmed the traditional good relations union - management despite the change of ownership of the plant, which is a confirmation of continuity and tradition of union organization and realization of social dialogue in the company.

SSM representatives explained the activities for the amendments to the GCA for the private sectors of the economy area, and outlined the importance of the need for continuity in the exercise of workers' rights and alignment of the text with the new legislation. At the end of the meeting, representatives of SSM and AGRO trade union were familiarized with the developments and the introduction of new technologies in achieving the production process.
