MEETING OF SSM IN TETEKS TETOVO

President of SSM, Dr. Zivko Mitrevski with Secretary of SSM, Angelko Angjelkovski, also President of the Union of Workers in Textile, Leather and shoe Industry, the President of the Trade Union of Teteks Tetovo, Ljupcho Radevski, Vice President of organizational development of SSM and also President of SSESM Robert Simonoski, held a meeting with the General Director of Teteks Tetovo - Gligorie Gogovski.

During working visit was discussed on the situation in the textile industry in Macedonia, the activities of SSM and proposed measures for dealing with global economic, financial and debt crisis, as well as activities and negotiation for the General Collective Agreements for the private sectors of the economy area.

The President of SSM presented the activities undertaken by SSM in several areas, particularly the improvement of legislation, activities undertaken by SSM to encourage the process of collective bargaining and the development of social dialogue.

General Manager, Mr. Gogovski, presented the current state in Teteks Tetovo, the steps taken to ensure maximum production activities for implementation of production plans, implementation of collective agreements in the enterprise and joint activities with the trade union.

At the end of the meeting it was agreed that the joint actions and cooperation between social partners at the national and enterprise level, is one of the key factors in ensuring normal production environment and creating conditions for further development, as well as the longstanding cooperation between management and the union in the company and union involvement in the implementation of the Collective Agreement in the area of remuneration, health and safety, etc.
