TRADE UNION OF DEFENSE – NEW CONSTITUTIVE MEMBER OF CCM
The Trade Union of Defense and Security is a constituent member of the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia, decided today the Council of CCM, adopting the previously adopted Draft - Decision of the Presidency.
Trade Union of Defense and Security made a bold move and we congratulate their courage. The reception is in full compliance with all current regulations of CCM and TU of Defense. The entry of the TU of Defense in the SSM is in accordance with our strategy to increase membership and the consolidation of the Trade union, said on that occasion the President of CCM Zivko Mitrevski.
We managed to overcome the individual access for the trade union interests. I pulled aside the human factor and I think it's time in the Republic of Macedonia to start with the consolidation of the labor movement, said President of TU of Defense Risto Ajtov.
At today's session of the Council amendments were adopted in CCM Statute about the entry of the new member –Trade Union of Defense and Security of Macedonia.
During promotion of the manual "Labor rights of women and youth in the Republic of Macedonia", issued by CCM and the Foundation "Friedrich Ebert" accomplishments was reviewed of the two sections, Women Section and Youth Section. President of Women Section Elizabeta Gelevska and the President of the Youth Section Irena Smiljanovska talked about past activities and projects announced for next year.
Mitrevski expressed special thanks to the Ambassador of Slovakia, Mr.Robert Kirnag about the Slovak Republic’s engagement and support of the Trade union movement in Macedonia.
