CCM, KSS AND FES IN 2012 ARE ORGANIZING SCHOOL FOR YOUNG TRADE UNION LEADERS
ANNOUNCEMENTThe Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia, the Confederation of Free Trade Unions and the Foundation "Friedrich Ebert" in 2012 will organize a "School for youth union cadres." The purpose of school is education and building of trade union cadres, who will be able to carry out trade union education, to lead the trade union policies in their operating environments or become union leaders.
The School is envisioned as a series of six two-day seminars on different topics. Each of the topics will be presented jointly selected by experts and lecturers, through modern-designed modules using interactive techniques, including individual or team assignments and seminar presentations, which are an obligatory part of all selected participants.

The development of modern trade unions can not be achieved without a change of consciousness, or way of thinking of the employees. In this context the key role is in young people and their leadership.
Worldwide, especially in countries with a long trade union tradition education of young trade unionists is common practice that is organized and carried out in a systematic manner. Since Macedonia has not paid enough attention to this, it is necessary to educate the young trade unionists and to encourage their leadership in trade unions at all levels. This issue is particularly important given the existence of trade union pluralism in Macedonia.
