FREE LEGAL ASSISTANCE
Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia provides free legal assistance for its members.
Legal assistance may require only the members of the trade unions affiliated in CCM.
Legal assistance in the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia is exercised by legal representatives in CCM, regional trade union offices and trade union offices.
Legal representatives cover membership in the wider region. For example, the lawyer from Kumanovo intervenes in Kriva Palanka and in Kratovo, the representative from Gostivar covers the region of Tetovo and Gostivar, the lawyer in Gevgelija covers the surrounding towns etc. The goal is that each member could request and receive legal protection in the nearest town.
In a broader sense, assistance, interventions and legal representation provide also other employees in CCM - for example, secretaries of the regional trade union offices and coordinators of the trade union offices. Thus, large part of CCM is engaged in providing legal and trade union assistance. (The distribution of territorial units of CCM is published here as - REGIONAL TRADE UNION BRANCH-OFFICES).
Several branch trade unions affiliated in CCM have their own legal representatives. They are the Autonomous Trade Union of Health, Pharmacy and Social Protection and AGRO Trade Union, while other unions have standing arrangements with external lawyers for the needs of their membership.
