The President of the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia, PhD Zhivko Mitrevski together with the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, Ibrahim Ibrahimi, ILO representative, Office in Skopje, Emil Krstanoski, the President of the Business Confederation of Macedonia, Mile Boskov attend the Regional Conference on the formalization of the informal economy which is held in Becici, Budva, Montenegro, organized by the International Labor Organization (ILO) and the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy of the Republic of Montenegro.

The aim of the conference is to promote the newly adopted recommendations for the transition from informal to formal economy in 2015 and to provide an opportunity for the participants to share relevant knowledge from Europe and Central Asia in terms of approaches and instruments relating to the formalization of the informal economy, including lessons learned through the implementation of a number of ILO projects in the region.

The event is being attended by representatives of governments and employers' and workers organizations from Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Greece, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Montenegro, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Tajikistan, Turkey and Ukraine as well as representatives and technical experts from the ILO.
