CONTINUATION OF NEGOTIATIONS ON THE AMENDMENTS TO THE GENERAL COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT FOR THE PRIVATE SECTOR

Today in the premises of the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia (CCM) the negotiations between the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia and the Organization of Employers of Macedonia continued regarding the amendments to the general collective agreement for the private sector in the area of the economy, including the recourse for vacation.

The partners agreed that the right to recourse for vacation stays for workers in the private sector in the Republic of Macedonia and it shall be related to the membership in a union and in some cases the possibility for determination of the economic - financial condition of the employer shall be taken into consideration when paying the recourse for which a mandatory special agreement shall be made with the union on employer’s level upon prior consent of the union on a higher branch level or activity.

On the meeting an establishment of a working group that shall determine the precise text of the amendments was also agreed.
