The initiative of the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia on the occasion of the Campaign for the First of May in 2013, which referred to the need for establishing a Local-economic and social councils (LESC) is more and more established in the Republic Macedonia within the frameworks of the project for the Promotion of the Social Dialogue, funded by the European Union, implemented by the social partners and the International Labor Organization.

А LETTER OF APPEAL FROM RTUC SOLIDARNOST TO THE WESTERN BALKANS SUMMIT

The Regional Trade Union Council "Solidarnost" on the occasion of the Western Balkans Summit, held in Vienna on 27.8.2015, on which leaders from the region and the EU shall be present and where the main theme is to encourage the European path of the region and to try to find a solution to the problem of the migrants, is sending a Letter of appeal to European Commissioner, Mr. Johannes Hahn.

Within the frameworks of the project for the Promotion of the Social Dialogue, funded by the European Union, implemented by the International Labor Organization (ILO) today in Veles the Treaty on the establishment of LESC Veles was signed by the social partners and the Mayor of the Municipality of Veles.

The Trade Union of the Workers in forestry, wood industry and energy of the Republic (SSHDE) within the frameworks of the implementation of the training program for trade union leaders, in collaboration with BWI, on 19.8.2015, held a joint meeting together with the management of PE Makedonski Sumi, attended by the President of SSHDE, PhD Zhivko Mitrevski, and the General Director of PE Makedonski Sumi, Mr. Zarko Karadzovski.

Прославувањето на овој празник претставува прославување на стремежот и идеалите на генерации Македонци преточени во нивната борба за слободна Македонија, чествувајќи го нивното дело, но и носејќи ја одговорноста за продолжување на борбата за просперитетна, демократска и европска Македонија.

The social partners, members of the Economic and Social Council on 27.7.2015 at the request of the European Economic and Social Committee had a working meeting on which several issues related to social dialogue in the country, activities related to labor legislation, and social partners’ activities in terms of the socio- economic issues in the country were discussed.
